On Bands and Assholes
Listening to The National and am reminded of the few fans that told me the whole “he does that at every show” in sneering voices. Oh, cool…
BOY does it grind my gears when people do this. I’ve seen The National 4 times and each show was fun and distinct in one way or another. Does any set of performers have things they “do” as part of their performance? Sure. Does that mean every show is the same, or that someone who hasn’t seen them before shouldn’t be excited about it?
I mean, I guess it means that if you’re an asshole.
